Icky Guru Bonuses

One key to this scam is that it is ususally listed in the bonuses.

What do we expect to see in the bonuses?

Old junky free stuff: Autoresponder Magic, Impact Popups, “viral” crap, downline builders, and best of all: ebooks! ebooks! and more ebooks!

Also you will see marketers list what would normally be considered as basic support in with the bonuses: video tutorials, access to users forum, access to blog, etc…

That’s why people tend to NOT look closely at the bonuses… there is often nothing there of much value.

And that is why this scam is so effective.  They hide the “big ticket” purchase in the bonus section where no one looks very closely.  They label it as “free” in a list of other free bonuses so you have to be very sharp to spot it.

The expensive subscription is “hidden in plain sight” through misdirection.

Misdirection is what magicians use to do their tricks.  They keep your attention focused on what they’re doing with their right hand so you don’t notice that they’re pulling things out of their sleeve with their left hand.

Icky Gurus keep you focused on the free physical product so you don’t notice the expensive subscription in the bonuses!

The Icky Guru Trick is Not…

Download the Icky Guru Trick Report Here.

To clear up a little confusion…  The trick I describe in the report has nothing to do with advertising a trial susbscription to a newsletter or membership site.  Promoting a subscription with a “try before you buy” or reduced priced trial is a perfectly legitimate marketing technique.  It is common for the trial to be short and the regular priced subscription to be expensive but if that’s the offer that is being advertised then it’s not a trick.

The trick I describe in the report is a “bait and switch” type of thing where the advertised product is free or very cheap and the expensive part of the deal is concealed by the marketer and often overlooked by the buyer.
